The Sphinx Enters Post Production, World Premiere Set for Dark Art and Oddities Con 2026

Breaking Fate Entertainment is thrilled to announce that The Sphinx, the latest short film in the Evermore: Tales from the Mind of Poe series, has officially entered post production.

Based on Edgar Allan Poe’s chilling short story of the same name, The Sphinx explores fear, perception, and the fragile line between rational explanation and creeping madness. True to Poe’s themes, the film invites audiences to question what they believe they are seeing, and why they believe it.

The film stars Phil Aman and Colin Gorman, whose performances anchor the story’s psychological tension and eerie sense of unease. The Sphinx is produced by Willy Adkins and directed by Domenic Migliore, continuing the creative collaboration behind several projects under the Evermore banner.

With principal photography now complete, the film is moving into post production, where sound design, editing, and finishing touches will bring Poe’s unsettling vision fully to life.

The team is also proud to announce that The Sphinx is slated to world premiere at the 2026 Dark Art and Oddities Con, taking place in November 2026. The annual convention, known for celebrating dark art, horror, and macabre storytelling, provides the perfect setting for the debut of this haunting adaptation.

The Sphinx joins Evermore: Tales from the Mind of Poe as part of an ongoing anthology dedicated to reimagining Edgar Allan Poe’s works for modern audiences while honoring the spirit of his original stories.

Additional updates, including screening details and release plans beyond the premiere, will be announced in the months ahead.
