Breaking Fate Entertainment and Migliore Films Launch a Bold New Short Film
Breaking Fate Entertainment has partnered with Migliore Films to announce the launch of their latest project: The Death of Harold, now officially in pre-production with filming set to begin in July 2025.
The film is written and directed by Domenic Migliore, with Willy Adkins attached as Producer, Director of Photography, and Casting Director. The collaboration marks another creative alliance between the two seasoned independent filmmakers.
The Death of Harold tells the story of Lola, a woman struggling to move on after the death of her former partner, Harold. While her friend Destiny offers support, an unexpected visit from Harold himself sets the stage for a complex, emotionally fraught, and darkly humorous confrontation. Blending grief, tension, and surreal irony, the film explores the lingering effects of unresolved relationships and the strange ways people search for closure.
The role of Lola will be portrayed by the talented Anita Nicole Brown, whose previous work demonstrates the emotional depth and presence this story demands. Jonathan Brunson has been cast as Harold, bringing charisma and mystery to a role that walks the line between dramatic intensity and existential reflection. Casting for Destiny will be announced soon.
With its sharp dialogue, compelling characters, and a tone that balances poignancy with dark humor, The Death of Harold promises to be a standout addition to both companies’ filmographies.
